Fruit smoothies are an excellent way to give your toddler the vital nutrients that they need, especially if your on the go with them! They are also great for those toddlers who are picky eaters and don’t seem to eat much. There are endless flavours to experiment with, the favorite in our house hold is banana and cinnamon. Yummmmm!

Unfortunately we drank our smoothies before taking a photo so I will post one up this week! That’s how good they are! =)

This toddler trick is perfect for any toddler!

What you need: (This is our banana and cinnamon smoothie recipe – very easy to adapt with different fruits)

- 1 x Banana
-1/2 cup Yoghurt (plain – Flavoured is OK too, it’s just going to add to the flavour!)
- 1/2 cup Milk
- 1tsp honey
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- Blender or food processer

What to do:

1. Simply place all the ingredients into your blender or food processor. For those of you with older toddlers, they will love helping you pop all the ingredients in.

2. Whizz together until smooth then pour into your toddlers cup! If you have any straws in the house I guarantee you will instantly become mum of year! It make’s smoothie drinking even more yummier and fun! (just like being at a cafe! =))
